Completed work
Towing, recovery, winch-outs, roadside calls and completed shop repairs are billed for work already performed. Those charges are not refundable once a truck has been dispatched and work has started, except as required by West Virginia law or if we billed you in error.
Cancelled calls
If you cancel before a truck is rolling, there is no charge. If a truck is already en route, a dry-run / go-get fee may apply for the time and miles already spent. Call (304) 442-4649 as soon as you know you do not need us.
Deposits and prepaid invoices
A deposit on scheduled (non-emergency) work is refundable if you cancel at least 24 hours before the appointment, minus any parts we have already ordered that cannot be returned. Unused prepaid amounts on an invoice are refunded to the same card or method you used, usually within 10 business days after we confirm the balance.
Card payments
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover charges appear on your statement as Hutch’s Wrecker Service. If a card charge is wrong, email info@hutchwreckerservice.com or call (304) 442-4649. We will review the invoice and issue a credit to the same card when the charge is ours to reverse. Do not dispute a charge until you have given us a chance to fix it — we will.
Storage
Storage is charged per day while a vehicle is on our lot. Days already stored are not refundable after the vehicle is released.
